Driving along the coastal R44 road between the Strand and Bettys Bay, through Pringle Bay is a particularly pleasurable drive for those who appreciate coastal scenery. Main attractions in the Betty's Bay area are the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens which contain some of the finest specimens of fynbos in the Western Cape including proteas and ericas.
